Important Document: Cost of Service Study FY 2027
The Carpinteria Groundwater Sustainability Agency conducted a Cost of Service Study to determine fair and equitable water rates for users of the Carpinteria Groundwater Basin for FY 2027. This study outlines overall water demand, crop estimates and methodologies used to estimate water use per parcel. CGSA water extraction rates are determined based on overall withdrawal and the costs of agency services. Note: Carpinteria Valley Water District pays metered rates for its use of Carpinteria groundwater in servicing CVWD rate payers.
